Tools for Tolerance for Professionals was originally introduced and developed at the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Museum of Tolerance (MOT) in Los Angeles. The Museum of Tolerance is excited to expand its acclaimed professional development programs with the creation of the innovative New York Tolerance Center (NYTC). The first immersive multi-media training environment of its kind, the NYTC brings a new model for dynamic adult learning and professional development to the East Coast.

Both facilities offer a high tech, hands-on experiential learning environment that focuses on exposing the dynamics of discrimination in both historical and contemporary contexts. The experience challenges us to confront prejudice, including our own. The exhibits are a powerful stimulus to explore crucial themes such as the power of words and images, the pursuit of social justice, and the relationship between diversity and democracy.
